A new track by The Joy Formidable: Greyhounds in the Slips, is now available to download for free from their myspace page:

Featuring vocals from Mansun’s Paul Draper this is the band’s first new song since the release of their 8 track CD, A Balloon Called Moaning which included the singles Austere, Cradle and Whirring; and is still available to buy on CD and download.

The video that accompanies Greyhound in the Slips is an energetic collage of live footage from tours with White Lies and Howling Bells as well as their own headlining tour earlier this year. .

The band will also release a live recording of their forthcoming Relentless Garage headlining show on September 30th. Titled “First you have to get mad”, it will be released just 6 weeks later on November 16th and will be available to pre-order from the band’s myspace page.
