Ellie Goulding Wins The BRITs Critics’ Choice Award

Following previous winners Adele and Florence And The Machine, Ellie Goudling has become the third female solo artist in a row to win the BRITs Critics? Choice Award.

The 22-year-old singer from Hereford will now perform at the BRIT Awards launch at the IndigO2 on January 18 before picking up the award at the main ceremony at Earls Court, London on February 16.

The realtively unknown Goulding said ?When I found out, I had a little squeal, I had a little cry, and I had a little fall down! I didn’t believe it at first, but now that it?s sunk in I am delighted and utterly honoured to have been given this award. I couldn’t be more happy and thankful to everyone right now.?Delphic and Marina & The Diamonds were announced as the runners up for the BRITs Critics? Choice Award 2010 .
