Delays Announce New Album Details

April 22, 2010 by

Delays have announced they release their fourth album ‘Star Tiger, Star Ariel’ on 21stJune 2010, through Lookout Mountain Records, preceded by the debut single ‘Unsung’ on 14th June.

Brothers Greg and Aaron Gilbert, alongside Colin Fox on bass guitar and Rowly on drums, recorded the new album at Rockfield Studios in Monmouth (Queen, Stone Roses) with Duncan Lewis who produced their first hit album.

Greg says of the new material “The first album sounded like the sun, the second album like a club, ‘Everything’s The Rush’ was a festival, but this album sounds like roots beneath the city shaking the buildings at night. This record is about being lost, and the dream of being found. It is our most personal record, and, more than anything, is a soundscape for our home.”

The album track listing is as follows:

Find A Home (New Forest Shaker)
The Lost Estate
May 45
Hold Fire
In Brilliant Sunshine
Moment Gone
Lakes Can Be Lethal
Star Tiger, Star Ariel
