The most controversial Glastonbury headliner in history is due to the return to the UK festival circuit to headline next year’s Isle of Wight Festival.
The Hip-hop legend will also be joined by fellow New Yorker’s The Strokes
The festival, which runs from Friday June 11-13, will also feature performances from Pink, Orbital and Blondie.
Jay-Z will headline the opening night of the festival, while The Strokes will close the main stage on the second day.
Organiser John Giddings said: “Ever since I heard the first Strokes album, I’ve wanted them for the Isle of Wight.
?Jay-Z and Pink are two of the best live acts I have ever seen and the Blondie hits speak for themselves. I can’t wait.?
The ninth edition of the festival, which takes place on Seaclose Park, will also feature Squeeze.
Tickets for the event go on sale on Friday (December 4).
